RAQ's challenge

There's a sketch challenge on the cricut community board that I've never participated in.Why? Because I look at the sketches so rigidly and literally that it paralyzes me! I thought I'd take a shot at it today. I wish I knew how to post the sketch......I'll try.

my first custom paper

I made my own patterned paper last night and turned it into a card.I had 5 blanks left over so I made 5 more,' assembly line style'. It still took me 5 hours to make 5 cards!!! P.S.same card-different lighting!

Song Titles

MY labels are longer than my entry,but I knew I wouldn't remember if I didn't enter them.My brother,Ken, gave me a dover cd for my  birthday,(last year) so I thought I better use it since he bought me some more for this year's birthday!!!!yeah,I love them.Any how these are the 3 I made.I think aunt Skipper is going to get the second one (july 28) note to self:dont forget!

I've been wanting to make a sewing related card for a few weeks now,maybe because I bought some stamps I wanted to use!I haven't decided which phrase to use,so I tucked both into the card to decide later.

froggie birthday

My neighbor's(jeanie) birhtday is tomorrow(6/28) and she collects frogs.(or people just keep giving them to her!).Anyhow,I thought I'd make her a frog card.

Got the gig!

I didn't do the formal presentation,I got too anxious to show harley what I had made so far.I wound up making the whole"bikini bottom" neighborhood,plus jelly fish to hang onto helium balloons and a h.b.banner and various signs.I still have to make goody bags and I'm done......I think!

My nephew's birthday is next month and his parents are renting a waterslide for his party.I asked him if I could do "sponge bob" decorations to tie in with the water theme.His reply waas"Well I'd like to see a few first. Whaaaaaaaat? I have to do a presentation that meets with his approval to get the green light?!!!!!So    I'm doing a very professional presentation,addressing him only as "sir"or mr.chattellier,and pulling out all the stops.I think he'll get a kick out of it.Here's what I've cut and glued so far.........
