I don't know what it is with me and wrapping paper,lately,but I bought some more.....Disney's "cars" and "tinkerbell".Of course I had to make tags to go with them.Tinkerbell was a nightmare to make.I wound up cutting eyeballs,irises and pupils by hand and they were no bigger than a pinhead!
I've spent the last 2 days trying to design cards that are easy to make. (and that ain't easy!) My company has a booth at a wellness gathering in Bedford and we're supposed to sell crafts that the residents have made.I've made cardmaking kits and will be hosting a cardmaking "party" to hopefully have something to sell!
I tried my best to make typewriter buttons from a m.s. button punch, but they came out looking like bottlecaps! I tried to bend the edges over myself but they didn't turn out so well.......oh well......tim holtz has them of course but they're so expensive and they're just paper coverings (like mine) so I'm not buying them. I'm gonna put these 2 cards in my stash,look at them occasionally and see if I like them..
I'm testing my new used Imagine that Provocraft exchanged for my other piece of crap Imagine.It has already shut itself off,twice, on this first project.Grrrrrrrrrrreat!!!!! I also made a 3D lion for Harley(just for grins.)
A client from another house is coming over to make cards,friday.I want to have a few examples and kits made up for her. She likes butterflies and flowers, so that will be the "theme". She's a sweet girl....We're gonna have fun!
